Where are we going? 2016

Where are we going?: It’s always easier to answer where have we been? but where are we going? has to reveal something of our future intentions. Despite last season concluding with us in a place we never imagined, we must again jump into that crystal ball of future plans.

Next year we think that the future lies west. A return to the boat in January 2016 would put us in a good position to head across the Indian Ocean. To the colours of Sri Lanka; the aquamarine necklace of the Maldives; the isolation of Chagos; the splendour of the Seychelles; and finally to the challenges and rewards of that great continent, Africa.

However, don’t hold your breath – the most consistent thing about our cruising seasons so far has been inconsistency with our expectations. There is far too much richness in life for a rigid schedule; we try to maintain flexibility to alter course when the situation demands. Where are we going will only be revealed in past tense.
